I know.

I recalled as much which is why I inferred that, currently,
no upgrade is necessary.

Sure.

No one suggested an _automated_ script.

I suggest to provide a script which calls "Orthanc -upgrade"
in the Debian-specific technically proper way _when run by
the user_. Which is what the suggested script does.
