[Debian-med-packaging] Feel free to take over patches from Debian packaging

Hi Torbjørn,

for the Debian packages I created two simple patches which could
probably be taken over in your upstream code.  One enables buuilding
vsearch under freebsd.  The other are some spelling fixes.  You can
