Thanks a lot for the pointer but I admit I'm in the same situation that
I'm not a figtree user. I'm afraid we need to trust on users reporting
bugs and if this might really happen, we should keep the change you
mentioned in mind.

I would love to. The current GSoC project about CI of Debian Med
packages works in the suggested direction in general but for the moment
this affects packages without a GUI.
