[Debian-med-packaging] Help needed to get Java component of phylip working

Hi,

I have just moved phylip to Git[1].  When trying the build from Git
with the two Java based components I get:

$ LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/drawtree
Error: Could not find or load main class drawtree.DrawtreeUserInterface
 $ LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/drawgram 
Error: Could not find or load main class drawgram.DrawgramUserInterface

Any hint how to fix this?
