I always (at least when reporting here) build in a clean chroot on
amd64.  The good news is that the Git repository builds for me now es
well - may be some temporary issue with some Build-Dependencies.

I'll take over and will try with the latest version (2.5.0).  If I
observe anything strange I'll report back.
