[Debian-med-packaging] Several enhancements for FastML available as Debian patches

Hi,

I'd like to inform you that we have assembled a set of patches for the
Debian packaging of FastML.  The latest ones are helpful to build the
source with GCC version 6 (Thanks to Gert Wollny for the patch).  I'd
recommend you cherry pick from here

the commented patches - most of them are not really Debian specific.
