Hi Andreas,

there is no license information in the software (which should have been 
for GPL software), there are different information on the website ("It is 
maintained and distributed for academic use free of charge by Ziheng Yang").

I don't think that one Google post is enough for this software to become 
part of main. Anyway, GPL means GPL-1+ and not only GPL-3.
