Yes, thank you Adrian. This was discussed and explained to me by Mattia 
on the debian-med-packaging mailing list (see [1] for example).
My intention is to add a new package "camitk-config" that just contains 
the binary, the man page and the pixmap.

Everything was just commited to git.
I am testing it at the moment and if everything is alright, I will ask 
for an upload very soon.
