[Debian-med-packaging] Bug#861098: New release from >= 0.500 upstream

Hi,

would it be possible to make a release from a post 0.500 upstream
release? Main motivation of this whishlist request is the added upstream
support for variable type annotations, which are just sweet! Make code a
whole lot less verbose and roundabout.

Currently attempting to build an private unofficial package from
upstream 0.501.
