I'd recommend droping the duplicated Homepage field from
debian/upstream/metadata.  There is no point in keeping this information
redundant and I do not know any application consuming this information.

Moreover I'd recommend to do a

   cme fix dpkg-control

to normalise Vcs fields before uploading.
