Well, if biomaj should remain in Debian we need to move it to Git before
February 2018 since SVN will be shut down.  I have just created a local
Git repository and it would be easy to push this in case you confirm
that biomaj has a good purpose for our users and should remain in
Debian.  In this case we could also close #848497 since the new version
*is* actually packaged ... but we could keep the old one anyway.

I'm not sure what you mean here.  Are you refering to bug #866980?
