[Debian-med-packaging] Bug#897785: Bug#897780: Now gcc-8 errors caused by non-fitting symbols file became serious

Dear Andreas,

Thanks for your answer. One more silly question: how can I get rid of the
previous symbol files, build the package, and generate new ones? Currently
does not want to build because of the symbol mismatch, and I could not
figure out how to solve that... any pointer welcome.
