I may have missed an earlier eMail about it. Toil is important to me 
(and others) but I admittedly need to go through all its dependencies 
again and check how these have developed in the meantime that toil was 
in new. Frankly, if one of its build dependencies gets rejected and I 
don't notice it or I find the immediate leisure to care, I then tend to 
forget about it until some later long weekend or train ride or some 
random look at our task pages ... and all the downstream packages suffer 
with it.

Maybe we could have a directed acyclic (hopefully) graph representation 
of NEW rather than a list? And a comment box much like mentors?
