Now that all buildds default to >= gcc-7, which in turns compiles
using -std=c++14 it may be a good time to switch to CharLS v2.0.0 and
drop the legacy v1.1.0 which is only compatible with c++03:

The master branch uses modern C++14. The 1.x branch is maintained in C++03.
