Package: snakemake
Version: 5.1.5-1
Severity: serious
User: debian-qa at lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts
Control: block 902788 with -1

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install. As
per definition of the release team this makes the package too buggy for
a release, thus the severity.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Setting up snakemake (5.1.5-1) ...
    File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/snakemake/shell.py", line 69
      async=False,
          ^
  SyntaxError: invalid syntax

dpkg: error processing package snakemake (--configure):
installed snakemake package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1

"async" has become a reserved keyword in python 3.7

cheers,

Andreas
