Looking at

   https://packages.debian.org/source/unstable/r-cran-adegraphics

it has a versioned Depends

    r-cran-ade4 (>= 1.7-13)

so I fail to see why there should be an additional versioned depends
for the test should be needed.  I wonder why this is fulfilled by

    r-cran-ade4 1.7-11-2+b1

?  Seems I'm missing something really obvious. :-(

It seems this is a direct consequence of the issue with
r-cran-adegraphics.
