The autopkgtest in unstable seems OK too, see:

 https://ci.debian.net/packages/p/pyscanfcs/

Might be the common case that autopkgtest is not smart enough to
consider all the packages it needs to make tests succeed in testing. Not
sure which versioned dependencies you'd need to make this easier for
autopkgtest.
