Sorry, there were actually two different bugs here, one in buster (LaTeX related)
and another one in sid (symbol-related, which I see it has just been fixed),
but I wronly believed the reason for the failures in sid was the same
as the reason in buster.

The bug I meant to report was only the LaTeX-related one, which
definitely seems a bug in one of the build-depends (maybe one
that was still in its way to testing when I reported it).

Can you please use "reassign" and "affects"?
(Or just tell me the offending package)
