Its simply because upstream does not know the difference between version
and SOVERSION.  There is no ABI change and thus its fine to stick to
libffindex0.  I'd rather think that it would be more appropriate to fic
the soname - but not touching this - specifically under freeze policy is
a safe thing, IMHO.
