[Debian-med-packaging] libbamtools-dev - missing file

Hi Adrien,
short notice: I'll CC the team but the best way is to write a bug
report since than it is documented and I can only encourage you to do so
even now.
My short answer is: In the current build process libbamtools.a is not
created any more and thus it does not end up inside the Debian package.
I personally do not see a real restriction to use this package since
you can also link dynamically.
If you really need the static linking - just file a bug report (severity
wishlist) preferably with a patch attached to build the static lib in
addiction to the dynamic one and we'll be happy to include this into
the next package release (well, if there is a patch - no guarantee to
fulfill this without it).
