There are three items that have been discussed on this bug report:

1. The addition of the upstream README, which has indeed been done.

2. The possible renaming of the tabix subpackage to libhts-tools or similar -- however since I realised that "apt search htslib" finds the tabix package anyway, I no longer think there is any real need for or benefit in changing this subpackage name.

3. Expanding the subpackage's Description to more clearly mention all three of bgzip, htsfile, and tabix, all of which it provides. At present users might try "apt install bgzip" (or "apt install htsfile") by comparison with "apt install tabix", and "apt search htsfile" currently returns no hits.

To be sure, tabix is the most interesting program here so most of the description, focussing on what tabix does, is fine. So it's a minor thing remaining on this bug but I think there would be benefit in e.g. simply extending the second paragraph (at the end of debian/control) to:

	This package is built from the HTSlib source, and provides the bgzip, htsfile, and tabix tools.
