[Debian-med-packaging] Bug#909710: Procedure for closing this bug

Hi,
I have added some autopkgtests to this package, and they seem to work well
on my local machine.
Since this was my first time working with Debian, I'm not aware of the
procedure to mark bugs resolved.
Is there a testing process where the code that I have committed will be
checked, and only then can it be marked resolved?
Or can I just email 909710-close at bugs.debian.org and it will be marked
closed?
