Hi,
despite upstream has tried hard to make diamond-aligner portable for all
64bit architectures the build time test keeps on failing for s390x[1]:
...
debian/rules override_dh_auto_test
make[1]: Entering directory '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>'
cd debian/tests && PATH=/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/obj-s390x-linux-gnu:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games sh diamond-calls
+ mktemp -d
+ TESTDIR=/tmp/tmp.b7aBbuLXHF
+ diamond blastp --threads 1 --db test/C.faa.diamond --query test/E.faa --out /tmp/tmp.b7aBbuLXHF/E.faa.vs.C.faa.diamond -e 1e-05 --outfmt 6 --quiet --sensitive
make[1]: *** [debian/rules:33: override_dh_auto_test] Error 1
Upstream says[2] despite the --quiet option there should be some error
output. I have removed the --quiet option in Git but did not uploaded
yet. May be some s390 porter could have a look and provide some gdb or
strace output?
Kind regards
Andreas.
