I build the package igraph on my mips64el computer with src " latest master branch" 、“released igraph 0.8.2.tar.gz ” and "igraph_0.8.2+ds-2.dsc"
There is no "tests ERROR" you mentioned,I don't know why but result of the command " make -j4 check VERBOSE=1 " are:
" latest master branch":
## ------------- ##
## Test results. ##
## ------------- ##
265 tests were successful.
2 tests were skipped.
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/igraph/tests'
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/igraph/tests'
make[1]: Entering directory '/home/igraph/igraph'
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/igraph'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“released igraph 0.8.2.tar.gz ”:
## ------------- ##
## Test results. ##
## ------------- ##
262 tests were successful.
2 tests were skipped.
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/igraph-0.8.2/tests'
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/igraph-0.8.2/tests'
make[1]: Entering directory '/home/igraph/igraph-0.8.2'
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/igraph-0.8.2'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"igraph_0.8.2+ds-2.dsc":
## ------------- ##
## Test results. ##
## ------------- ##
260 tests were successful.
2 tests were skipped.
make[3]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/debtest/igraph-0.8.2+ds/tests'
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/debtest/igraph-0.8.2+ds/tests'
make[2]: Entering directory '/home/igraph/debtest/igraph-0.8.2+ds'
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/debtest/igraph-0.8.2+ds'
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/igraph/debtest/igraph-0.8.2+ds'
I don't know what happened when you build,Maybe it's not a code error.
if you want to try on a mips64el computer, Let me know, You can connect to my Cloud Platforms using ssh.
Hoping to help
