Thanks for the clarification!  With the recent discussion on
bamtools ABI breakage and the consecutive rejection from NEW,
I came up with a patch to fix the ftbfs with gcc-11 in version
2.5.1+dfsg-10 so the noise caused by autoremoval can be tuned
down a bit at last.
