Good point, replacing the isinstance call by a helper such as a
hypothetical isunknownseq would have preserved the existing
logic. Upstream followed an approach not too far from it, and
kept things simple by bumping dependency to Biopython 1.79 in
ncbi-acc-download 0.2.8. Let's move to unstable.
