Unfortunately, LTRsift is currently unmaintained (by me, I am also
upstream). My career has moved into a different direction and it does
not look like anyone else picked up the project upstream in the meantime.
So: it is unlikely that LTRsift will be ported to GTK3 in the near
future or even in the medium term. I am truly sorry but that's how it is.

I am prepared to accept removal of LTRsift as a consequence of
potential removal of GTK2 from Debian, should it ever happen.
