There are a few similar bug reports with same error messages which aren't helpful and
I am not quite sure as to how to debug errors like these. I did try to check this using
gdb but I don't get anything helpful from this either.

I also found similar bug reports on a few git hub projects, without any closure/conclusion,
for instance this one[1]

Could someone on the list please help fix this/point towards the right direction to check so
this can be debugged ny further?
