Package: dcmtk
Version: 3.6.7-8
Severity: serious
User: debian-qa at lists.debian.org

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to purge
if the installation originated in jessie or before:

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

(Reading database ... 10105 files and directories currently installed.)
Purging configuration files for dcmtk (3.6.7-8+b1) ...
rm: cannot remove '/var/lib/dcmtk/db/STORESCP': Is a directory
dpkg: error processing package dcmtk (--purge):
installed dcmtk package post-removal script subprocess returned error exit status 1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   dcmtk

The postrm contains
   if [ -d /var/lib/dcmtk/db/STORESCP ]; then
      rm -f /var/lib/dcmtk/db/STORESCP
   fi

This directory only exists on upgrades from the jessie version or
earlier.

cheers,

Andreas
