Thank you Santiago for providing me access to such a machine. I could repro the issue
and added in a patch to fix it as well.
I saw all builds passing on doing 30 consecutive builds with my patch, so I believe this
works fine.

I have uploaded with my changes. @Andreas, I think we will need to file an unblock request
for this to migrate.
