sudo apt install "mosdepth"
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
sudo apt install "libhts-dev"
* What was the outcome of this action?
mosdepth works
It appears "mosdepth has the undecalred dependency of "libhts-dev"
