Source: hisat2
Version: 2.2.1-5
Severity: important

Hi,

The s390x ci.debian.net host has been crashing repeatedly the last
couple of days [1] (since 2024-07-14). After several days of debugging I
discovered that if failed when two hisat2 runs were running in parallel.
They tried to use more memory than available.

I took a screenshot of top with 1 hisat2 running on it's own at 97.6% of
48GB memory. I don't think that's acceptable, see attachment.

Please ensure the memory usage is reasonable or skip the test.

Paul
