Source: pyfastx
Version: 2.1.0-2
Severity: serious

Hi Maintainer
The python3-fastx binary package contains:
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/pyfastx.cpython-312-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
However, the binary control file contains an unversioned dependency on
python3. It should have something like:
python3 (>= 3.12~), python3 (<< 3.13)
This was noticed when running the autopkgtests of augur with Python 3.13 [1].
I think a similar issue was found in psi4 [2], and fixed there with a
call to dh_python3 [3], but please do check with the Python Team.
Regards
Graham
