Hi Lucas,

Thanks for running your tests and reporting the issue!  The
below error, reformated for readability, suggests a race
condition of some sort:

However, I have seen no failures out of a dozen attempts to
reproduce the problem.  I am running with parallelization level
12, which should be sufficient to hit problems as there are only
8 tests; although my system tends to be otherwise busy.  Your
own logs suggest an error rate of 33% on your hardware.  There
is a sample of one of my build logs available on the people's
machine[1], if you want to have a peek at eventual environment
differences.

Assuming this is indeed a race condition matter, then I suppose
running the test suite with dh_auto_test --no-parallel for good
measure would resolve the issue, but I don't really have means
to verify the regression is indeed corrected if my guess is
wrong.  I consider uploading such fix, but don't hesitate to
keep an eye on the behavior of the build and reopen the bug if
it turns out to still happen.
