Please do tell #1076080. That bug has not seen any activity for over a
year.

My script does not look at commits and I think it does not have to. If
you have commits that fix the bug, the tagpending hook should be
updating the bug report and hence cause activity that prevents my
autoremover from taking action.

Yes, please. And once you do update the bug, please close the
pre-removal bug instead of repurposing it. Alternatively, please remove
the usertag. Otherwise the autoremover is going to be confused.
