Hi Carles, thank you for your report,

it looks like the package does not need a PDF reader anymore for more
than a decade, so I will just remove the whole recommendation.

Also, I see that the size of hmmer2 is 314 kB and hmmer2-doc is 97 kB;
it does not seem that splitting the packages is worth the effort anymore
in 2026.  While preparing an update, I propose to just merge them if
nobody objects.
