Unfortunately there were issues on some architectures supported by Debian:

   https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=diamond-aligner

I tried to fix these (and maybe / hopefully these are not displayed any
more on this site due to the new build attempt).  You can find these
patches here:

   https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/diamond-aligner/-/tree/master/debian/patches?ref_type=heads

Please review and include these in your next upstream release.
