Package: libcivetweb-dev
Version: 1.16+dfsg-4
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,
Both opensuse16 and fedora44 have civetweb packages that were built with the ZLIB and XDOM_SOCKET options enabled when configuring, which are features required to be able to be serve as dependency of CERN'S ROOT software.
While it's not urgent to have the same functionality in Debian, it would be great to not lag many months behind, so I am filling this feature-request to not forget about that on the middle term.
The necessary changes are already merged in Salsa repository thanks to A. Tille, so only the upload is missing.
