I just noticed that the source code of plastimatch includes files with non-free
license. At least in
    src/register/cuda/viscous_compute.cu 
or
    src/plastimatch/register/cuda/viscous_compute.cu 
depending on the version of the software, one reads:

c* Permission to use, copy, or modify this code and its            *
c* documentation for scientific purpose is hereby granted          *
c* without fee, provided that this copyright notice appear in      *
c* all copies and that both that copyright notice and this         *
c* permission notice appear in supporting documentation. The use   *

Also I have some doubts about the plastimatch license itself, one reads:

   use, reproduce, make derivative works of, display and distribute
