Upon closer look, that was the right call, but gdistribution
needed some more changes. Actually, it has been necessary to
bring back the recipe in the src/Makefile in order to have the
binary in a buildable state. I initially considered the option
to drop gdistribution support from the package entirely, but the
program is needed by the reverse dependency plasmidseeker, so
repairs or rollback were necessary.

I believe that I managed to achieve the repairs instead of
having to roll things back. I pushed my work on Salsa and
genometester should be in buildable state, with gdistribution,
but I have not pushed the package in Debian unstable yet. There
are still a few minor changes I want to bring. I don't really
have a way to verify that the new implementation of
gdistribution is in working conditions, because the autopkgtest
of genometester does not cover (yet) gdistribution and
plasmidseeker has no autopkgtest support at all for the moment.

Have a nice day, :)
