Good Morning Evanelgos,

I agree with you! I think this would be excellent to have the 
DebianOnMobile team to maintain. I have been working with several
memebers of that team to get it packaged for Debian (which has been 
greatly appreciated!).

I also want to call out that I have contacted the upstream devs
to get my patches into upstream:

However, in an unrelated conversation with their team, they mentioned
that mmsd upstream has not been maintained in at least 8 years. I 
mention this because I would appreciate guidance on the best course of 
action in case the patches do not get upstreamed (hope for the best,
prepare for the worst).
