[Debian-on-mobile-maintainers] Bug#1016927: gnome-console: Shortcuts being executed without shift being hold

Package: gnome-console
Version: 43~beta-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: hackedbellini at gmail.com
After upgrading to the current gnome-console version in Debian Sid (43~beta-1),
all shortcuts are being executed even without pressing shift.
For example, ctrl+c is executing a copy (together with a SIGINT) just as if I
pressed ctrl+shift+c
ctrl+v is pasting without requiring shift being hold
ctrl+w is closing the current tab
etc
I reported this upstream (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/console/-/issues/176)
but the maintainers there said that could not reproduce this and thus it should
probably be an issue in Debian itself.
