Regarding gnome-authenticator (which I maintain through DPT), the
application has been rewritten in Rust and it now uses GTK4 and
libadwaita.
All the dependencies (rust crates) of the updated gnome-authenticator
are unfortunately not yet all packaged and available in the archive.
I am working together with the Rust team to get those dependencies
available in the archive, although since there are many new packages,
those need a trip through NEW which adds some overall delay regarding
their availability.
This means that most likely gnome-authenticator will get removed before
the new version could be uploaded.
I certainly aim for the updated gnome-authenticator to be available for
the bookworm release.
