Thanks for the bug report Peter.
The MR at [0] would help address this issue, although it is apparently
not ready to be merged (see the comment from Arnaud).

Arnaud, should we maybe involve upstream (if not done already) if we
can't easily fix the error you reported in that salsa MR above?
