Hi Santiago,

gir-rust-code-generator,
which is used to regenerate the gtk-rs binding, cannot parse the newer 
<format> tag of gir files, leading to those FTBFS (see #1100054).
Upstream is aware and working on it. This covers all rust packages that 
build-depend on gir-rust-code-generator; no idea about the others. I'll 
try to sort this out with upstream soon.
