You probably mean #1094070, where you pointed to https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/wlroots/wlroots/-/issues/3805

If you don't mind, I'd rather keep this bug open as a reminder that this
issue is known.

I also confirmed that it builds fine with sbuild --chroot-mode=schroot
