Yes please, maybe even add me as owner in order to ensure I have the 
required level of privilege for this.

This is indeed the way to go for tranfers to (and maybe from) the 
"debian" namespace, but IIRC if I have sufficient permissions on both 
sides (original repo and destination namespace) that wouldn't be needed.
