We made no progress with this issue. We are still willing to bring 
modern features to debian xmpp service (hosted at vogler).

Would it be possible to remove prosody setup from puppet scope and allow 
debvoip group to manage the service (sudo access to prosody related 
service/conf would be enough) as reported in rt#8257 [0]?

How can we move forward on this topic?
