I basically want to "abuse" salsa by omitting the packaging related 
stuff in Salsa, and using it as a simple cron job that runs once a week.

Primarily, I got it working now; I just use an

default:
   image: debian:testing

in my .gitlab-ci.yml, and it seems that it works.

However, I am still not sure whether this is fair use of salsa or if it 
discouraged.
