Salsa CI uses standard dpkg-buildpackage for building, and the
versioning follows the convention for any Debian package.

<name>_<version>-<debian-revision>_<architecture>.deb

To avoid problems with released versions, Salsa CI bumps the version by
adding a +salsaci tag to the Debian revision. See [0].

What kind of conflicts are you trying to avoid?
